The following post is to be filled up under time bound research project entitled “Effect of Indoor Air Pollution on Women and Children in India” sponsored by ICMR at National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad, on contractual basis. The post is purely temporary, adhoc & contractual basis and co-terminus with the project:
Post: Senior Research Fellow (One – Reserved for SC)
Pay (Rs): 18000/-+ 20% HRA p.m.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: M.Sc. Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / Life Science with good academic record with TWO years research experience in the related field.
Desirable: Experience in the field of Cytokine Assay and other techniques in molecular biology. Knowledge of computer and data analysis.
Job Requirement:
* Field work to collect the history and biological samples of the study subjects.
* Candidate should be able to work in community for collecting the samples.
* Candidate should have the experience to carry out the experimental work in the laboratory, literature search related to the project, Data analysis and report writing.
Age Limit: 35 Years. Relaxable upto 5 years to SC.
The interested candidates meeting above-mentioned conditions of eligibility may appear for the walk-in-interview to be held on 06.06.2014 at 11.00 AM. at this Institute. The candidates have to submit application in plain paper, two copies of their detailed Bio-Data along with the attested copies of educational, work experience certificates and testimonials at the time of reporting for interview. The original certificates may be submitted for verification on demand. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other projects. Benefits of Provident Fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim, Earned Leave, Leave Concession etc. are not admissible. Qualification and experience should be from a recognized University/Organization.
