National Research Centre on Equines is a premier institute established under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research for conducting research on equine health and production.
The importance of equines in India is well known. India possesses 1.16 million equines. Major population of equidae comprising donkeys, mules and ponies that provide livelihood to the rural societies living in arid, semi-arid and hilly regions, specially in the foot hills of Himalayas, through transport and draught where as remaining small population of equines is used in army, police, border security force, racing industry and sports.

Name of the Project: DST Project - “Synthesis, characterization and evaluation of drugloaded nanoformulations against Trypamosoma evansi in animal model”

Duration of Project: Upto March, 2015.
Emoluments: Rs.16,000/- P.M. plus HRA @10% (After 3 years Rs.18,000/- P.M. plus HRA).
Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Basic Science and NET qualify or Graduate degree in Professional courses and GATE or equivalent qualification
Desirable: Experience in Nanotechnology/ Pharmacology.
The engagement in the project is purely time bound, non regular and co-terminus with the expiry of the period of the concerned project. The selected candidate would have no legal right to claim for regularization appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular post or any further contractual engagement on termination of the project. Initially the selection will be made for one year and will be extendable based on the performance of the candidate or till termination of the project/scheme whichever is earlier.
1. Age limit: is upto 35 year for men and 40 years for women candidate. Upper age limit will be relaxable by 5 years in the case SC/ST and 3 years in the case of OBC Candidate.
2. The appointment of selected candidate will be subject to the condition that he/she is declared medically fit for service by the prescribed medical authority.
3. The Jr. Research Fellow/SRF/RA who have earlier worked in the ICAR projects will be given preference for appointment over fresh candidates while engaging research associate/research fellows in the said project subject to their suitability and good conduct.
Walk-in Interview of the candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications shall be held on 16.06.2014 at 11.00 AM at National Research Centre on Equines, Sirsa Road, Hisar- 125 001.
