Job Description
- Developing expertise for Bioanalytics and in-process analysis of biopharmaceutical molecules. Analytical Method development and validation of analytical methods especially Surface Plasma Resonance, Electrophoresis, HPLC, ELISA etc. Understanding biopharma regulations and marketing trends to support sales department and customers with expert advice
- Working with customers in a strong collaborative environment to provide Bioanalytical solutions and carrying out proof of principle studies.
- Following Good Documentation practices- preparing analytical method development protocols, validation protocols, SOPs and test reports and report to customer and management in oral and written manner
- Designing, developing and delivering training courses, theoretical as well as practical, in the field of Bioanalytics.
- To host/train Customers (internal/external)
- Conducting independent scientific application work using SPR, 2D-Electrophoresis, ITC- DSC , MicroCal for Monoclonal Antibodies (MAb's), vaccines, recombinant proteins, plasma fractionation
- Developing and maintaining relationships with the regional commercial and marketing teams, as well as the global Fast Trak and R&D organizations
Qualifications/Requirements:
- M.Sc degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry related Life Sciences field
- 4+ years industrial experience in Quality Control in reputed biopharmaceutical industry
Candidate Profile
- PhD Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry related Life Sciences field
- + 4-6 years of experience in in-process testing, DS/DP testing of Vaccine, MAb plasma, recombinant protein
- Understanding of bio-process- upstream and downstream processes
- Working knowledge of FDA/EMEA /Local regulations for biologics (in-process and DS/DP testing)
- Prior teaching and/or presenting scientific material experience would be highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed, and customer focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationship with co-workers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated good presentation skills
