Research and development activities from the lifeline of a vibrant academic institution. Dean R&D and IRCC play a vital role in IITB’s intellectual output by providing end-to-end support, from conceptualization to commercialization, of research ideas, specifically by Ensuring that environment is created / nurtured / maintained so that faculty and scientists at IITB are able to conduct research of the highest caliber. The research environment includes laboratories’ civil infrastructure, equipment, support staff -- both technical and administrative -- and research staff. Providing support for researchers to liaise with (potential) funding sources so as to be able to finance their research and development activities.
Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering of this Institute. The position is temporary initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Qualification: M.S. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics from reputed institutes like IITs, IISERs, NIPERs etc with minimum 8 CGPA out of 10. At least 9 months of prior experience in Insulin delivery using Nanotechnological Approaches. Desirable-Experience in developing analytical and Bio-analytical Methods and Animal experimentation in diabetic models
The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project.
