The recruitment process for posts under various programs in the National Health Mission, Health Department, Amravati District is being implemented on a contractual basis, and applications are being invited from eligible candidates as per the table below.

General Instructions for Candidates
1) No new advertisement will be issued for 15 Specialist Vacancies, 02 Sub-Specialist Vacancies and 61 Medical Officer (MBBS) Vacancies. Vacancies will be filled through Walk in Interview on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 11 am. Therefore, candidates should submit their applications to the National Health Mission Office, District General Hospital, Amravati.
2) Applicants should correctly mention their current mobile number and e-mail ID on their application. Also, they should ensure that it remains valid until the completion of the recruitment process.
3) Candidates interested in the above posts should attach a Nationalized Bank Direct Debit (DD) of Rs. 150/- for open category and Rs. 100/- (non-refundable) payable in the name of "District Integrated Health & Family Welfare Society, Amravati" with the application. Also, write your name in your own signature behind the cashier's check,
4) The posts in the advertisement are not regular posts of the State Government and the said posts are purely contractual posts. There will be no right of severance pay on the said posts. Also, the government service rules will not be applicable for these posts. Also, the applicant will not have the right to be included in the government regular service or to claim service protection through the government or in this regard.
5) The age application, educational qualification, experience and registration certificate mentioned in the advertisement will be accepted till the last date of the advertisement,
6) The waiting list for the said post will be approved for the next 12 months, also after the completion of the recruitment process, if the post becomes vacant due to resignation of an employee at any place in the future, appointment orders will be given to the candidates on the waiting list without conducting a fresh recruitment process.
7) The honorarium mentioned in front of the above posts is the combined honorarium and no other allowances will be payable apart from it.
8) If the Central/State Government rejects the relevant posts, the service of the candidate will be terminated immediately without any prior notice and no complaint will be entertained in this regard. The selected candidates will be given priority placement based on the merit list. If any pressure is used against the candidates in this regard, the selection of the said candidates will be cancelled.
9) The selected candidates will have to submit an agreement on Rs. 100/- stamp paper stating that they agree to the terms of the agreement while joining the post, and it will be mandatory to join within 7 days of receiving the appointment order, otherwise their appointment order will be terminated and the next candidates in the waiting list will be given appointment.
10) Travel allowance and other allowances will not be payable to the candidates for submitting the application.
11) All rights to make changes in the number of posts in the advertisement as well as in social reservation, to make changes in the number of posts and to cancel/cancel the recruitment are vested in the office and the right to make changes in the selection process at any time is reserved at the level of Hon. Chairman and Hon. Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Amravati. No claim of any kind can be made in this regard.
12) The applicant cannot request for change of location as per convenience during the contract period.
13) The selected candidates will have to submit all the necessary original certificates, educational qualification certificates and other necessary documents before being confirmed.
14) Since the selection process for the above post is conducted directly on merit, the application along with the original educational documents should be submitted to this office in the application form provided within the period specified in the advertisement on the date mentioned in the advertisement, applications received after that will not be accepted.
15) If the candidate wants to submit an application for more than one post, he will have to submit a separate application for each post. The name of the post applied for and the category (caste category) mentioned for the said post as per social reservation should be clearly mentioned in the application and the application should be submitted in the attached form only.
16) As per the state level letter dated 2nd December 2021, a decision has been taken to appoint ASHAs trained in government training centers to vacant contractual posts in the National Health Mission so that they can get an opportunity to provide health services. Accordingly, the selection committee reserves the right to change the number of posts.
17) In the future, if there is a change in the reservation as per the point list of the Hon'ble Assistant Commissioner, the candidates will be reduced without giving any prior notice.
18) Honorarium to retired candidates will be paid as per Government Decision No. K. Sakirna-2715/Pr.Kr./100/13 dated 17.12.2016.
Instructions regarding eligibility / ineligibility for candidates
1) The candidate applying for the said posts must be a resident of the state of Maharashtra.
2) Candidates applying from the reserved category must attach the Caste Certificate of that category. Candidates without a caste certificate will not be considered and such candidates will not be able to avail the benefits of the reserved category.
3) If the application is submitted by the backward class candidates from the reservation, the relevant documents should be attached with it, otherwise, the candidate's application will not be accepted. Candidates applying in the EWS category should submit the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) caste certificate with the application, otherwise their application will be considered ineligible.
4) It will be mandatory to submit the registration renewal certificate of the Council/receipt of the application for renewal of the Council for the posts mentioned in the advertisement along with the application. Also, the validity of the registration or any other documents from the Council should be within the current period. However, candidates with invalid certificates will be disqualified from the recruitment process.
5) Candidates with more than two surviving children will no longer be selected for the contractual posts of the National Health Mission. For this, a small family certificate should be submitted as per the sample given with the application.
6) Before issuing the appointment order, all the original documents attached with the application will be verified by the Selection Committee and if the documents submitted are found to be incorrect, the candidates will be rejected from the selection process.
7) On the day of publication of the advertisement, the maximum age limit for the said post will be 38 years for the open category and 43 years for the backward class category.
8) If the candidates attach incomplete documents with the application, the candidate will be disqualified.
9) Employees who have retired from the posts of Class-3 and Class-4 and above are ineligible to apply for the contractual posts as per the government decision dated 17.12.2016. Date 17.1
10) The selected candidates should attach the bank statement of the last three months with the experience certificate submitted, the authenticity of the said experience certificate will be verified by the office. If any inaccuracy is found in it, the candidate will be disqualified from the further selection process.
11) There should be no departmental inquiry proceedings going on or proposed against the retired officer/employee or there should be no criminal case in any way.
Advertisement is being published for purely contractual posts with approved posts as above. However, the interested candidates may apply for the above approved posts along with their applications and original copies of certificates and attested copies from 19/03/2025 to 03/04/2025 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm (excluding holidays), also the applications of the candidates who come after 03/04/2025 and applications received through e-mail will not be considered for the recruitment process.
