NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.
Post : Project Associate - I (1 Position)
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Title : “Evaluation of anticancer potency of accessory viral protein, W, of Newcastle disease virus” of Dr. Madhuri Subbiah.
Tenable upto : Six Months.
Essential Qualification : Four years Bachelor’s degree in natural or agricultural sciences/ master’s degree in natural or agricultural sciences/ BVSc / B.Pharma or Bachelor’s in Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.
Desirable Experience : Research experiences in cell culture, viral assays and handling small animals (mice) will be preferred
Fellowship amount : Rs. 37,000/- + HRA (if applicable) candidates NET or GATE or undergone a selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions and 30,000/- + HRA (if applicable) for others who do not have NET or GATE as per ANRF/OM/N-01/2024 dated 14th October 2024.

Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
