The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi owes its existence to Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the first residential University of modern India, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), who could foresee the vital role of technical education in strengthening independent India. Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO).
Post : Senior Project Assistant (Post-I)
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Project Assistant (Post-I) at a Fixed Stipend/ Fellowship/ Salary amount of Rs. 30600.00 p.m. in a ICMR Sponsored Project entitled “Development of a nanostructured graphene oxide/polydopamine coated PDMS nano- biosensor monitoring GPC1 for the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer” sanctioned up to 3 Year. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential qualifications : Ist division in MTech / M.Sc. / M.Pharm. in Biotechnology / Life Science / Pharmacy or Relevant field.
Desirable qualifications, if any : NET / GATE qualified candidate, familiar with Biosensor technology & experienced in Cell culture & animal handling.
