Post : Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical)
For ICMR funded Project entitled "Catheter-directed image guided delivery of small molecule chemotherapeutic agent using radio-opaque biodegradable microspheres for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma" P.8270
Qualification (Essential) : Post graduate degree, including integrated PG degree in Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biotechnology.
Experience (Desirable) : NET/JRF or qualified for Ph.D admission of SCTIMST for Academic Session - 2025
Job description : Synthesis of polymer conjugates via different chemistry, preparation of microbeads with X-ray imaging moieties, physicochemical characterization, study the drug loading and release kinetics, biocompatibility evaluation, data collection and interpretation, preparation of reports.
Monthly emoluments : Rs.56,000/- + 18% HRA for 1st & 2nd year, Rs.58,800/- + 18% HRA for 3rd year
Age limit as on 01.03.2025 : 35 years
No of post : Existing - 1 OBC (In the absence of eligible OBC candidates, SC candidates will be considered, further in the absence of eligible SC candidates, UR will be considered.)
Duration : Initially for a period 27.01.2026, likely to be extended upto 27.01.2028.
Those who fulfil the above requirements may report for an interview as per the above schedule alongwith duly filled Recruitment Report Form, bio-data, original and self-attested copies of certificate to prove age, qualifications, experience and a valid Caste certificate (for SC candidates) / non-creamy layer certificate (for OBC candidates) in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Govt. Institutions issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildar. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates reporting after 09.15 AM will NOT be considered for selection. Candidates already in service have to produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of interview. Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained AFTER acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.
