Post : Project Research Scientist-I

Applications are invited for the position of one (1) Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) in the ICMR-sponsored project titled, “Evaluations of Antifungal Lipopeptides on Clinically Relevant Candida Mixed species biofilms on Abiotic Surfaces of Medical Device Materials and In vivo Evaluation in Galleria mellonella". The post is to be filled on initially for one-year, extendable up to three years or till the completion of project.

Eligibility Project Research Scientist-I (non-medical) for 3 years : (i) First class (minimum 60%) post-graduate degree (M.Tech / M.E.) including the integrated PG degree in Biotechnology / Microbial Biotechnology / Genetic Engineering / Microbiology / Pharmacy or related disciplines. M.Sc. candidates without valid NET / GATE need not apply.
Desirable : Candidates with keen interest and experience of chromatography-based purification, HPLC, Mi crobiolog y are encouraged to apply immediately. The deadline for receiving applications is 18th April 2025.

Age limit : 35 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation as per the ICMR guidelines.

Emoluments : Rs.56,000/- per month plus HRA
