The Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) is an Autonomous Institution [under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Registration No. S-21944/1991)] under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. It was established in May’1991 and in this short span, it has emerged as a reputed institute among the pesticide formulation and analytical R & D centres of India.
Eligible and interested Indian Nationals may attend the Walk-In-Interview on 2nd & 3rd April, 2024 at 10:00 AM onwards for selection on the position/s which intend to be filled-up purely on contract, time bound, non-regular, temporary and co-terminus basis under “Externally funded and In-house projects” of the Institute as per the details given below

Senior Project Associate - 01 Post
Qualification & Experience : Essential : M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/ Analytical/Physical/Inorganic) with at least 4 years of experience in nano-based formulations/remediation research. Desirable : The candidates with high quality publications in reputed international journals in the relevant area is preferable.
Remuneration (Rs. Per Month) : 42,000/-+HRA
Age Limit (Maximum) : 40 Years*
Senior Project Associate - 01 Post
Qualification & Experience : Essential : M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/ Analytical/Physical/Inorganic) with at least 4 years of experience in nano-based formulations/remediation research. Senior Project Associate (Ecotoxicology) - 01 Post
Essential Qualification : Essential : B. Tech/ M.Sc. in Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences (Toxicology, Pharmacology, Zoology, Limnology or Ecology) or M.Pharm or equivalent from a recognised university. Experience: Minimum four years of experience in conducting Ecotoxicology studies as per OECD GLP compliance. OR Doctoral Degree in Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences (Toxicology, Pharmacology, Zoology, Limnology or Ecology) or M.Pharm or equivalent from a recognised university.
Desirable : Working Experience in Aquatic, Terrestrial and Avian Ecotoxicology field and handling of Bird, Fish (Daphnia Zebra), Earthworm, Honeybee etc as per OECD principle.
Remuneration (Rs. Per Month) : 42,000/-+HRA

Project Associate-I - 06 Posts
Essential Qualification : Essential : M.Sc. in Chemistry/Forensic Science/M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis from a recognised university with UGC-NET or ICAR-NET or GATE/GPAT qualified. OR M.Sc. in Chemistry/Forensic Science/M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis from a recognised university.
Desirable : Experience in NABL/GLP laboratory in R&D related to the analysis of Pesticide technical & formulations or residues of pesticides, trace metal elements, contaminants or physical chemical parameters & 5 batch analysis.
Remuneration (Rs. Per Month) : 31,000/-+HRA OR 25,000/-+HRA (Without NET/GATE)
Age Limit (Maximum) : 35 Years*
Project Associate-I (Ecotoxicology) - 01 Post
Essential Qualification : Essential : B. Tech/ M.Sc. in Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences (Toxicology, Pharmacology, Zoology, Limnology or Ecology/Environmental Sciences) or M. Project Associate-I (TICO) - 01 Post
Essential Qualification : M.Sc./M.Pharm from a recognised university.
Desirable : Experience in assisting documentation and record maintenance in GLP laboratory.
Remuneration (Rs. Per Month) : 25,000+HRA
Age Limit (Maximum) : 35 Years*

Project Associate - I (Archivist) - 01 Post
Essential Qualification : Essential : M.Sc./M. Pharm from a recognised university.
Desirable: Experience in assisting documentation and record maintenance in GLP laboratory.
Remuneration (Rs. Per Month) : 25,000+HRA
Age Limit (Maximum) : 35 Years*
Documentation Assistant - 02 Posts
Essential Qualification : Essential : B.Sc./B.Pharm from a recognised university. Desirable: Experience in assisting documentation and record maintenance in NABL/GLP laboratory.
Remuneration (Rs. Per Month) : 30,000.00 (Consolidated)
Age Limit (Maximum) : 35 Years*
* The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH), Woman & OBC as per norms of the Government.
General Instructions
1. The above positions are purely temporary in nature and on contract basis with co-terminus on completion of the projects/requirements and non-transferable to any other projects.
2. The above positions are initially for a period of one year further extendable based on continuation of project(s)/requirements and subject to satisfactory performance of individual.
3. The candidates who fulfills/meets the prescribed norms for the post should attend the Walk-In- Interview on the schedule date and time along with CV/Bio-data in the prescribed application format along-with self attested copies of certificates in support of their education / experience / age / caste etc.
4. Cut off date for determining the upper age limit, qualification, experience etc. shall be the last date of receipt of application.
5. The candidates who do not fulfils the prescribed norms can be considered for next below position with lower remuneration at sole of discretion of IPFT.
6. The Institute reserves the right to fill or reject/modify all or any specific posts as notified in the advertisement.
7. The numbers of vacancies are indicative and may be increased or decreased. The number of posts advertised are provisional and can be varied as per the requirement of the Institute.
8. It may be noted that offer of contractual hiring/appointment against the advertised post/s will not confer any right on the selected candidates for absorption in IPFT or claiming any status whatever.
9. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
10. The well deserving candidates with relevant qualification and performances will be encouraged for Ph.D. Enrolment.
11. No TA/DA shall be payable for attending the interview.
