Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the SERB-funded research project titled “Understanding the protective effect of chlorogenic acid in rat embryonic neural stem cells prenatally exposed to air particulate matter: A transcriptome-based approach” at the Manipal Centre for Biotherapeutics Research (MCBR), MAHE, Manipal.
Eligibility and Job Description :
Essential Qualification : M.Pharm; M.Sc. (Zoology/ Toxicology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biomedical Science/ Life Science); M. Tech (Biotechnology/ Biomedical Engineering) with first class. The candidates must have a National Eligibility Test - Lectureship or Assistant Professor (NET-LS) or GATE.
Desirable Qualification : Experience in animal handling, neuroscience (rat/mice brain surgery), and stem cells will be preferred.
Remuneration : 31,000 + 8% HRA per month
