NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenesis, stem cell & its applications, reproductive biotechnology, infectious diseases, nanotechnology, bioinformatics and Nutrigenomics.
Post : Project Associate - II (1 Position)
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Title : Exploration of bovine and caprine embryo secretory microRNA signatures to assess embryo quality”. PI: Dr. H.B.D. Prasada Rao.
Tenable upto : 01 Year.
Eligibility : Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences or Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course. M.V.Sc / M.Tech / MSc / M.Pharm Degree in Biochemistry /Microbiology/Immunology with first division.
Experience : The candidate should have minimum two-year research experience preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-09/2012 dated 21.10.2014 and SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). Experience in IVF and embryo manipulation will be preferred.
Fellowship amount : Rs. 28000/- PM + HRA and other terms as per DST guidelines.
Age : 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions).
