Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat in association with Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has established a NIDHI-TBI (Technology Business Incubator) named ASHINE (Association for Harnessing Innovation and Entrepreneurship). ASHINE, which is a section 8 (not-for-profit) company, aims to promote entrepreneurial activity on SVNIT campus and commercialization of R&D efforts across all disciplines of Engineering and Technology including Energy, Environment and Manufacturing. It also extensively undertakes pre-incubation activities for SVNIT students under the SSIP policy of Government of Gujarat. It also envisions developing incubation activities in other sectors in coming years with support from various government/semi government and private entities.
ASHINE, a NIDHI-TBI at SVNIT, Surat is looking for young and dynamic candidate for the following post.
Post : Incubation Manager (One Post)
Location of the job is SVNIT campus, Surat, Gujarat and familiarity of the applicant with the city and surroundings will be preferred. The above posts are purely contractual, and will initially be offered for a period of 11 months and may be extended further based on the satisfactory performance of the incumbent and as per the clause of the project. Contract can be terminated with One month notice from either side.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential: Educational
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering/Technology from any nationally reputed institute/university. MBA/PGDBM or equivalent would be an added advantage. or Bachelor's degree or higher in Science/Pharmacy/Business Administration/Commerce with an MBA/PGDBM or equivalent.
• The applicant must have minimum 3 years of overall work experience, with at least 1 year of experience in the start-up sector, either as a start-up founder/co-founder/core team member and/or as a stakeholder of start-up ecosystem or in managing/administering an incubation centre or at least 1 year of industrial experience at managerial level.
• Age Limit: Less than 40 years
Salary : Depending on the qualifications/experience, selected candidate will be offered salary in the range of Rs. 40,000 to 60,000/-per month (all inclusive).
