Post : Group Leader - Medicinal Chemistry
Roles & Responsibilities :
• Integrate and interpret the SAR and identify lead compounds with desirable properties (activity, selectivity, DMPK characteristics, physical properties).
• Collaborate with project team members and communicate progress against goals in a multidisciplinary setting: Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, Modelling and external collaborators.
• Lead a chemistry team involved in all key aspects of drug discovery, iteratively designing safe and efficacious novel molecules.
• Lead medicinal chemistry project teams conducting laboratory research demonstrating excellence in synthetic and medicinal chemistry allowing rapid and efficient structure activity and structure property relationships knowledge generation via multi-dimensional optimization.
• Lead an internal or collaboration program as project team leader and ensure transition through different milestones on time.
Candidate Profile : Ph.D. with 10-15 years' experience.
