Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, was established on 2nd october 1972 by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh as the first Technological University in the country. It has been in the forefront for the past 44 years in providing quality technological education of relevance in the State of Andhra Pradesh. After 36 years of existence it was restructured into 4 different Universities by the Government vide Government Ordinance No.13, dated 18th August 2008 and Act of State Legislature No.30 dated September 2008 and this new University has been designated as Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH).
Post : Head School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technologies
JNTUK invites applications for position of HoD in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies under Institute of Science and Technology, JNTUK. The position is purely temporary and its tenure is only for one year with consolidated remuneration as per JNTUK norms. The position is extendable in increments of one year with approval as per university norms.
Qualifications & Experience for candidates from Teaching Profession
i) Basic degree in pharmacy (B.Pharmacy),
ii) Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.
iii) Master’s degree in Pharmacology / Pharmaceutics / Pharmaceutical Analysis in Pharmacy,
iv) Ph.D. degree with first class degree either at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy. Experience 15 years experience in Teaching/Industry / Research out of which 5 years must be in the cadre of Professor or above in Pharmacy. Desirable : Administrative experience in responsible positions.
Age limit : As per applicable PCI/AICTE norms.
Qualification & Experience for Candidates from Industry
Candidates from Industry/Profession with Ph.D. degree with first class degree in Bachelor's with Master's level in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy and with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. degree and with 15 years experience of which at least 5 years should be in a Senior level. Age limit: As per applicable PCI/AICTE norms.
