CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants is a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The Institute conducts research in all frontline areas of Biological, Agricultural & Chemical Sciences.
CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Bengaluru, one of the four centres of CSIR-CIMAP Lucknow, conducting research in front line areas of Biological, Agricultural and Chemical Sciences seeks application from eligible and interested candidates to attend online/walk-in interview (hybrid mode) for selection of qualified JRFs/SRFs to work under scientists of various disciplines including molecular plant biology, biochemistry, synthetic biology, biodiversity conservation, chemical ecology, genetic improvement, agronomy and soil science etc.
Candidates who have completed M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany / Chemistry / Agronomy/ Soil Science/Plant Breeding with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PH) and have also cleared CSIR-UGC NET Exam/ ICMR-JRF Exam/ DBT-JRF or any other Exam leading to JRF/SRF Fellowships tenable at CSIR-CIMAP are eligible to apply.
The eligible candidates can download the application form from website and attach all copies of relevant documents and produce during Walk-in-interview/send by mail to crcblr@cimap.res.in. The selected candidates will have a provision to appear for interview under AcSIR/CIMAP-JNU PhD programme.
