NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up following positions against the DBT funded project entitled “Socio-economic upliftment of landless and marginal farmers of Yadgir district (an aspirational district) of Karnataka through goat rearing” at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Associate-II (One post)
Eligibility :
a. Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Sciences (MVSc) / MSc (Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Nanotechnology / Biochemistry) with minimum two years of research experience.
b. Non-NET-qualified candidates with postgraduate degree in above-mentioned disciplines can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
Desired Experience : Candidate having experience of working on naotechnological interventions to deliver micronutrients or synthesis of nanoparticles or socio-economic aspect of rural development will be given preference.
Age : 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
Fellowship amount : Rs. 35,000 + 24 % HRA as per the DST guidelines.
