JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. It was established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. This deemed-to-be university is recognized by MHRD and accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade (3.47 CGPA). JSS AHER has been graded as Category-I Deemed-to-be University by UGC in the Year 2018.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (upgradable to Senior Research Fellow in 3rd year after satisfying required criterion) to work under DBT-NER-Twinning project, “Death receptor-5 targeted lipid nanoparticles of y-secretase inhibitor for simultaneous targeting of breast cancer cells and cancer stem cells [BT/PR24607/NER/95/772/2017]. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualification : M.Pharm., (Pharmacology or Pharmaceutics), M.Sc. or M.Phill in Nanoscience & Technology Candidates with GPAT, GATE or NET qualification are preferred.
Project duration : 3 years
Fellowship Amount : JRF: Rs. 31,000/- plus 8% H.R.A. for 2 years
SRF: Rs. 35,000/- plus 8% H.R.A. in 3rd year
