National AIDS Control Programme (NACP) in Meghalaya was taken up during the last quarter of 1993-94. Actual implementation of the Programme could begin only in March 1994. Earlier the Programme was implemented through a State AIDS Cell but due to various constraints in implementing the programme, a Society was constituted and registered on the 20th of August 1998. As such from the 1st of April 1999 the Phase II of the Programme (1999 – 2005) and Phase-III is being implemented through the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society.
The Office of the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, Shillong invites application from eligible candidates who are citizens of India for appointment of following Staffs on Contract basis for a period of 1 (one) year (which is extendable as per performance).
Pharmacist
Place of Posting : ART Plus Centre, Civil Hospital Shillong
Educational Qualification & Experience : Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institute. Or Diploma in pharmacy with 3 years of experience in health care institutions. He/She must be registered n the concerned State Pharmacy Council with basic Computer knowledge (MS Office etc). Knowledge of local language is essential.
Upper Age Limit : 27 Years (5 Years relaxation for ST/SC)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs 13,000/-
