Panvel Municipal Council was formed on August 25, 1852 as the first municipal council in the country. The initial notification for converting Panvel Municipal Council to Municipal Corporation came in the year 1991 but was never finalised. After rapid urbanisation post-2000, Panvel Municipal Council was eventually upgraded to Municipal Corporation in 2016.

National Health Mission Scheme (NUHM) in Panvel Municipal Corporation As per the above letter of eligibility, the appointment of the candidate holding the prescribed educational qualification, prescribed age limit, experience etc. for the relevant post will be made through direct interview at the level of Hon'ble Deputy Director Health Services, Mumbai Board Thane (WALK IN INTERVIEW).

Terms and Conditions:
1. An application form is available at panvelcorporation.com.
2. The original documents such as application form in the prescribed format, Certificate of Educational Qualification, Caste Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate, Certified Experience Certificate, Two Passport Size Certificates, Government Experienced Experience Certificate, Evidence in case of change of name should be brought along for the interview. An attested Xerox copy of these documents should also be attached with the application in the prescribed format.
3. Candidates should mention the exact mobile number and mail id which is continuously in operation while submitting the information along with the application.
4. The above posts are on contract basis and their tenure will be up to 11 months.
5. The posts in the advertisement are not regular posts of the state government but posts in the form of net contract. There will be no permanent right to this post. Also, the service rules of the government are not applicable for these posts and the applicant will not have the right to be accommodated in the government service or to be protected by the government or to sue the establishment / court.
6. The applicant should be physically and mentally fit for the respective posts and no criminal case should be filed against the applicant.


7. Priority will be given in the recruitment process to medical officers and parallel medical staff working in the Department of Medical Health, Panvel Municipal Corporation during the Covid 19 communicable disease period. Evidence of work done by the concerned should be brought along (appointment order / experience certificate).
8. A lump sum honorarium will be paid monthly for the above contract posts.
9. It should be noted that in case of selection of retired special experts / staff, the honorarium for these posts will be measured and paid as per the prescribed guidelines received from the state level.
10. The Hon'ble Commissioner, Panvel Municipal Corporation reserves the right to change the number of vacancies in the advertisement and also to change the vacancies.
11. Preference will be given to those with experience and higher educational qualifications. If there is no prescribed educational qualification, the application will be declared ineligible.
12. It should be noted that the selection list will be published on the website panvelcorporation.com after interviewing the eligible candidates.
13. The list will be based on the information provided by the candidate in the selection list. If the information is found to be false while scrutinizing the documents, the selection of the candidate will be canceled. Also, if the candidate uses any pressure mechanism, the selection of these candidates will be canceled.
14. On the day of advertisement, the maximum age limit for the post will be 38 years for open category and 43 years for backward category. Also, if working under National Health Mission, age limit of 5 years will be relaxed.
15. The age limit for the post of Medical Officer will be 70 years for retired Medical Officers and Specialists and 65 years for other staff. Also, it will be mandatory to submit the medical certificate of the District Surgeon / Medical Superintendent to be physically and mentally fit.

16. Retirement / Voluntary Retirement Specialist / Officer applying for the post of Specialist / Employee Complete information should be mentioned in the application.
17. Experience under government, semi-government as well as National Health Mission will be considered in the selection process.
18. The place of work will not be changed as per the convenience of the candidate after posting.
19. It should be noted that for the above technical posts, it will be mandatory for the pharmacist, medical officer, etc. to attach the registration certificate obtained from the same council, otherwise the candidate will be disqualified from the scrutiny process and interview. 20. Accommodation, meals and travel expenses will not be provided to the candidates who are present for the interview.
21. Postponement / Cancellation of Recruitment Process / Setting Different Dates for Interviews in case of Excess Response / Right to Change in Recruitment Process Hon. Reserved at the level of Deputy Director, Health Services, Mumbai Board Thane. No one can file a claim in this regard.
