National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is a national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER - Raebareli) is an autonomous body which has been established under the aegis of the Department of pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, in the Government of India, to provide leadership in pharmaceutical Sciences and other related areas.
Post : Research Assistant
Applications are invited from the Indian Citizens and domicile of UP for the post of research assistant at a fixed Stipend/ Fellowship/ Salary amount of Rs. 20,000/- pm in a CST UP Sponsored Project entitled “Novel synthesis of flavonoid-hydroxypyridinone hybrids as potential anti Alzheimer agents”. The position is purely temporary, initially for one year, which is extendable based on the performance of the candidate and is strictly co-terminus with the duration of the project.
Essential qualifications : The candidates should possess M.Sc./M.S. (Pharm.) / M.Pharm. in Medicinal Chemistry / Chemistry. The candidates who have qualified GATE / GPAT will be preferred.
Desirable qualifications (if any): Throughout first division (from high school onwards.)
Age limit : 28 year (age relaxation for SC/ST/PH is as per GoI rules). The candidates are required to attach valid proof for claiming relaxation as per the guidelines prescribed by the Government of India from time to time.
