The Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI) is a unique postgraduate medical institution devoted to research, teaching and patient care in the field of chest diseases. It is a University of Delhi maintained institution and is funded entirely by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow in SERB, DST project, entitled, “Genomic insights of azole and terbinafine resistance in clonal Trichophyton mentagrophytes/ interdigitalis spp complex causing alarming difficult to treat dermatophytosis in North India” The educational and other qualifications required for the post are as under
Senior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification: Master degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biomedical Sciences / Life Sciences and National Eligibility Test CSIR/UGC/ICMR/GATE/ qualified
Essential Research experience : Minimum two years of research experience.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 35,000 p.m. + HRA as per rules.
Upper age limit : 35 years
Tenure of Service : Three years
