A postdoctoral position is available, with an anticipated start date in May 2020, at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Amarillo. The candidate for the position will be working on nano and microparticle-based drug delivery systems for inhalational therapy for PAH, a rare pulmonary vascular disease. The candidate should have a PhD in pharmaceutical, pharmacological or drug delivery sciences with an excellent writing skill in English. An ideal candidate should have first-authored publications demonstrating his/her hands-on experience in preparation and characterization of particulate drug delivery systems including pegylated liposomes, PLGA particles, and exosomal vesicle-based drug delivery. Candidates with no experience in RHC will have opportunity to receive training in RHC, PAH related methodology and inhalational drug delivery.
