Walk in interview for Research Associate at National Institute of Technology

Applications are invited in prescribed format for the position of Research Associate under the research project sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Govt of India.

Title of the Research Project: “Design of a Microbial Fuel cell integrated Microbial electrolytic cell reactor and study of its structural and process parameters for economic production of bio-hydrogen by electrohydrogenesis.”

Duration of the Appointment : Initially for 4 months and can be extendable to one year

Duration of the Project: 02Years

Job Description: Research related to the project work

Consolidated Monthly Fellowship : Rs. 38,000/- + 20% HRA

Essential Qualifications
PhD in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemical Engineering / Chemical engineering / Environmental sciences or other relevant disciplines.
OR
Three years of research, design and development experience after M.Tech/ME (first class) in Biotechnology/ Biochemical engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Environmental sciences or all other relevant disciplines with at least one research paper in Science citation indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience in Microbial electrochemical technology (design and operation), handling of anaerobic microorganisms, knowledge of statistical data analysis and analytical instruments, preferably gas chromatography.
