Job Description
1. Having good experience in development of oral liquids like syrup/Suspension.
2. To conduct the pre-formulation study for the product development.
3. To conduct the API characterization, compatibility study and recording the same in the lab book.
4. To conduct development trials, achieving desired dissolution profiling and manufacturing the stability batches & bio equivalent batches.
5. To evaluate the trails, bio-equivalence, and stability data scientifically & planning experiments.
6. To use various laboratory equipment for method development, method validation and routine sample analyses, such as HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS/MS, GC-MS, GC, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Dissolution Apparatuses, Karl Fisher Titrater, etc.
7. Literature search, guidelines & To prepare protocols and reports for the developmental studies and validation of the test methods
8. Process improvement and scale up trials of developed formulations.
9. Reformulation and developing cost effective product.
10. Identification of new vendors, organizing technical audits, due diligence, agreements and negotiating for manufacturing of formulations.
11. Successfully perform Technology transfer of developed formulations to manufacturing site. Interaction with QA, QC, production, Technology Transfer and various departments at manufacturing location for scaling up and technology transfer of project.
12. Preparation of master manufacturing and packaging document and review of batch records of manufacturing site.
13. Material requirement planning and procurement of Raw and packaging material as per manufacturing requirements without affecting marketing demands.
14. Documentation Preparation and review of formulation development reports.
15. Regulatory support: to provide necessary documents to regulatory department, required for dossier submission, FDA audits, licenses application etc.
16. Should be able to work under pressure and deliver to meet predefined stringent timelines.
Candidate Profile
• Should be B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy/MSc.
• Minimum 8 years of research experience in pharmaceutical industry;
• Open to travel;
• High level of responsibility;
• Ability to work under defined deadlines;
• Strong organization and verbal/written communication skills;
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point);
• Excellent writing and presentation skills in English;
• Knowledge of other foreign languages would be an asset.
