Indian School of Mines invites Application for the post of Technical Assistant (Pharmacist)

Indian School of Mines, established in 1926 offers 4 yr. B.Tech., 3 yr. M.Sc. Tech., 2 yr. M.Sc., 5 yr. Integrated M.Sc. (Tech.)/M.Sc., 5 yr. Dual Degree (B.Tech. & M.Tech./MBA), 2 yr. M.B.A., 2 yr. M.Tech., full time and part time Ph.D. courses/programmes in Engineering and Basic/ Earth/Social/Applied Sciences, Humanities and Management disciplines.

ISM invites applications from Indian nationals for the following post.

Post: Technical Assistant (Pharmacist)

No. of Post: 01 (OBC)

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution with at least 55% marks.

Experience: 8 years relevant experience in a post in PB-1; GP of Rs. 2,800/- or equivalent and proficiency in computer applications.

Pay-scale with GP: PB: 2 : Rs. 9,300-34,800 + GP Rs.4,200

Age: 40 Years; relaxable for internal candidate.

Desirable: Experience in recognized hospitals will be preferred.

General Information:
1) Reservation for SC/ ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman as per Central Govt Rules.
2) Persons employed in Government / Semi - Government Organizations /Autonomous Bodies should submit their applications through proper channel.
3) Degree as referred above should have been awarded by a recognized University/Institute.
4) Mere eligibility will not vest any right on any candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the Institute in ail matters will be final. Institute may adopt any suitable criteria to shortlist the number of candidates. Institute may relax the minimum criteria for educational qualification and/or experience for suitable candidates. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection/interview. Canvassing in any manner would entail disqualification of the candidature.
5) Incomplete applications or application without attested copies of certificates or received after the last date are liable to be rejected.
6) Those candidates who have applied in response to our earlier advertisement no. 411002/2015-Estt dated 23.7.2015 need not apply a fresh. However, they may update their bio-data, if required.
7) Legal disputes with Indian School of Mines, if any, are restricted to the jurisdiction of Dhanbad courts only.
8) No interim inquiries will be entertained.

Note:
• Canvassing in any form may invite disqualification of candidature.
• The Institute reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for test/interview after short-listing with reference to the candidate’s qualification, suitability, experience etc.
• Eligible candidates for the posts of STA/SSA/TA/SA will have to give a presentation for 10 minutes duration of the work they are doing; those who will qualify will have to appear for interview.
• For the post of Jr. Engineer and Electrical Supervisor, all eligible candidates will have to give a written test and/or trade test and interview as decided by the Institute.

SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying any fees.

Candidates shortlisted for interview will be paid sleeper class railway fare by the shortest route, as per rules, on production of tickets.

Institute may adopt a suitable criteria to fix higher qualification and/or marks and conduct written test/professional competency test to shortlist candidates for interview. Legal disputes, if any, regarding the above will be restricted within the jurisdiction of Dhanbad only.
