The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Force was raised on 24 October, 1962. At present, the ITBP guards 3,488 km long India-China borders ranging from the Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from this, the Force also has important roles in many internal security duties and operations against the Left Wing Extremism in the state of Chhattisgarh. Most of the ITBP’s Border Out Posts (BOPs) are located at altitudes ranging from 9,000 ft to 18,800 ft where temperatures drop to minus 45 degrees Celsius in extreme winters. ITBP is a specialized Armed Police Force of the Nation which trains its personnel in various disciplines including mountaineering and skiing apart from intensive tactical training, thereby creating a distinctive image of the Force.
Post : Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist)
Indo-Border Police Force invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens to fill up vacancies of Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITB Police Force in Pay Level-5 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 29,200-92300/- 7th CPC). Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad. The Applicants are advised to check their eligibility before applying, so as to avoid appointment at later stage.

Educational Qualifications
i) Pass in the Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with physics, chemistry and biology as subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
ii) Diploma in Pharmacy from any Central/State Government institution or any institution recognized by Central/State Government.
iii) Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Age Limit : Between 20 to 28 years (The upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC and Ex-Servicemen and Government Servant in accordance with the instructions & orders issued by the Central Government from time to time. Crucial date for determining the age will be 28th July, 2024 (28-07-2024) i.e. the last date for receipt of online application. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 29th July 1996 and later than 28th July 2004.
Application Fee : Male candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR), OBC and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories applying for recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse) should pay Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) and Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) for Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) as application fee through online payment gateway system on recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in

• The candidates whose applications are found in order, shall be issued admit cards (online) to appear in recruitment tests. Candidates have to download online admit card from ITBP recruitment website i.e. recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Therefore, candidates should provide genuine and functional e-mail ID and mobile number at the time of filling online application form. ITBP will not be responsible in case of non receipt of admit card due to technical and other reasons.
• The selection process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Test, Documentation, Practical Examination, Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME).
• Medical Examination to assess the fitness of candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and AR issued vide MHA U.O. No. A.Vl-1/2014-Rectt (SSB) dated 20.05.2015 and as amended from time to time by the Government and A.VI.I/14-Rectt (SSB) dated 24-08-2015 as amended from time for time by the Government.
