AIIMS Raipur is one of the SIX AIIMS healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country. Advertisement for “Walk in Interview” for the post of Project Research Scientist-I on contractual basis for financially approved research project by ICMR entitled "Evaluation of maternal and fetal outcomes in women diagnosed with GDM or normoglycaemia using IADPSG criteria, among women diagnosed with normoglycaemia by DIPSI criteria: Prospective multi-centre observational cohort study “to be conducted at Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, AIIMS, Raipur, for a period of Two year purely on contractual basis as per below mentioned details.
Essential Qualification
Essential
• MBBS/MVSc/BDS
Or
• First Class Post-Graduate degree in Life Sciences / Science, including the integrated PG degrees.
Or
• Second Class Post-Graduate degree in Life Sciences / Science, including the integrated PG degrees with PhD.
Desirable
• Research experience in recognized Govt. Institutes will be given preference.
• Own Publication will be Preferable.
• Knowledge of computer applications like MS Word, Power Point and Excel.
Age Limit : 35 Years
Job Profile
• Overall coordination and conduct of the project activities including analysis and report writing along with the study team.
• Maintaining all study records and verify case record forms.
• Do data entry and data management.
• Daily update of study progress to the PI.
• Coordinate with PI and Co-PI for periodic follow up meetings to assess the progress of the study.
• Ensure maintenance of project data and consent forms in collaboration with study staff.
• Timely summarization of study results along with data analysis.
• Attending project meetings.
• Monitoring the project budget.
• Performing literature reviews.
• Any other work assigned by the PI.
Job duration : 11th Months extendable, depending on the candidate’s performance and budget grant from the funding agency
Place of work : AIIMS, Raipur
Monthly salary : Rs. 56000/- + HRA, as Admissible
Terms and conditions
1. This is a fixed tenure contractual vacancy under funded project and not an employment on AIIMS Raipur pay roll.
2. Employment will automatically terminate upon completion of (11 months) from the day of joining of duties & if no Further extension granted.
3. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason.
4. Extension on the job may be given if there is further requirement or extension of project depending upon previous work performance evaluation report.
5. The candidates have no right to claim permanent employment based on this job at AIIMS Raipur.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
7. Selection of the candidate will be based upon experience & performance before the selection committee during the Interview.
