Job Description
Role Summary
• Underwrite cases allotted as per assigned underwriting authority
• Supervision of Underwriting teams
• Resolving queries
• Assist the underwriting manager to analysis data to facilitate identifying trends in underwriting.
• Reinstatement of Cases
• Re - Underwrite cases

Key Result Areas
• Should belong from Insurance domain knowledge especially Medical Underwriting
• Should have hands on experience in processing medical and financial applications
• Should have knowledge on New Business and Risk underwriting
• Co-ordination at times with Sales, Operations, and with customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Should be able to handle work pressure.
• Should be able to work long hours especially in month ends and year end.
• Should be able to work on Ms Office and MIS
• Proactive and solution oriented

Candidate Profile
Qualification
Essential : B. Pharm / BSc / Doctor / Graduate in commerce
Desired : B. Pharm / B.Sc./ B. Com / MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BAMS
· Industry & Insurance knowledge.
· Good analytical skills.
· Knowledge of evaluating various risk factors in Underwriting.
· Knowledge of basic medical terminologies.
· Efficiency in managing small teams.
· Effective presentation skills.
· Good system skills in Excel / Word
