Regional Centre for Biotechnology is an institution of national importance and statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.
Post : Project Associate
Title of Project : Aptamer-nanoparticles conjugate: a next generation theranostic agents for phytopathogenic fungi.
Age Limit : Below 28 Years.
Duration : Initially for six months and may be extended up to one year.
Essential Qualifications : MSc / MTech in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry /Microbiology/ Bioinformatics/ Genomics and any National level JRF eligibility test qualified such as NET, DBT etc.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in handling fungal culture are highly desirable. Skills in molecular biology tools and fungal gene knockout are also requisite. Candidate should be hardworking and team player with interpersonal skills.

Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA per month.
