Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Kothrud, Pune-411038, is a Premier Research institute working under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt, of India. The following posts are to be filled on purely contractual basis and co-terminus with the IMR project whose details are as follows.
Junior Research Fellow (Pharmacology) - 01
Name of the Intra-mural Research Project : Anti-cancer activity of Chaulmoogra Oil and Shwetha Sarshapa chooma in the treatment of Epidermal carcinoma in Experimental Mice
Duration : Initially 6 months (may be extended based on satisfactory performance)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 31,000/- +24% HRA
Total Duration of Project : 01 Year
Qualification and age limit :
Essential : M.Sc.(Biotechnology/Biochemistry) B.Pharm / B.V.Sc. or equivalent from a recognized University / Institution.
Desirable : Candidate with hands oi experience in cell culture/biochemical assays handling will be preferred.
Age : Age not exceeding 30 years as on the date of interview (Age relaxation as per Govt, of India Rules for the candidates from SC/ST /OBC/EWS Category).
Senior Research Fellow (Toxicology) - 01
Name of the Intra-mural Research Project : Exploration of reproduction toxicity profile of AYUSH 64
Duration : Initially 6 months (may be extended based on satisfactory performance)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 35,000/- +24% HRA
Total Duration of Project : 6 months
Qualification and age limit :
1) Essential:- M.V.Sc. / M. Pharma, M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Toxicology/ Biochemistry and two years research experience) from a recognized University/Institution.
2) Desirable: - Candidate with hands on experience in laboratory animal handling will be preferred
Age : Age not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview (Age relaxation as per Govt, of India Rules for the candidates from SC/ST /OBC/EWS Category).
General Conditions :
1. Candidates desiring to appear for an interview on the day of Interview, should bring all original documents, mark sheets, attested certificates, testimonials, a copy Bio-data (as per proforma Provided) and two copies of recent colored photograph for submitting at 9.30 A.M. at Institute conference hall. Admission will not be given after 10.30 am.
2. Candidates having proper documents will be allowed to appear for the examination. There will be written examination and interview of written test qualified candidates from 12.00 A.M. onwards at the institute.
3. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the written test/interview.
4. The engagement is contractual and co-terminus with the project. No claim for the permanent/ regular appointment or continuation will be entertained.
5. The engagement is initially for 6 months which is further extendable based on satisfactory performance of the candidate and extension of the project.
