The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited on plain paper for the contractual post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST funded project entitled "Drug development unit.........." under Dr. Bikash Medhi. Professor. Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh 160012. The post is purely on contract basis.
Qualification : Master’s Degree in Pharmacology / Life Sciences with any specializations from recognized University (As per DST rules).
Desirable : Preference will be given to GATE/NET or any other national exam qualified candidate along with knowledge of in silico drug discovery and animal handling.

Pay Scale : As per DST norms
