Applications are invited for the post of one Project investigator for the project entitled “Documentation and validation of Traditional Healthcare knowledge of Indian Himalayan Region: Translational approach” (Principal Investigator: Dr. Subhash Chandra Mandal, Society for Ethnopharmacology, India) supported by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India.
Post : Project investigator
Tenure of the Project : Three years. Initially, an appointment will be made for one year and may be extended on the basis of performance of the candidate till the termination of the project or availability of the funds.
Essential qualification : M.Pharm./ M.Pharm.( Ayurveda) / M.Sc. in Life Sc. / Botany / Chemistry with First Class.
Desirable qualification : Experience in natural product research; Survey and documentation of Medicinal Plants, Traditional Medicine/Plant Taxonomy/ Phytochemistry and evaluation of natural products.
Age : Up to 40 years of age as they stood on 1st May 2022
Monthly Emoluments : Rs. 30,000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousands only) per month (consolidated)
