KHPT is a not-for-profit charitable entity that spearheads focused initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of communities in India. In 2003, KHPT was founded with a mission to enhance the health and wellbeing of vulnerable communities and our journey started with the focus on reducing the prevalence of HIV in Karnataka, specifically among most at-risk populations. These interventions were evidence-driven, systematically planned, rigorously implemented, and monitored. We succeeded in scaling impact well beyond Karnataka and KHPT became a learning site for innovative approaches. We work primarily in the fields of Maternal, Neonatal & Child health (MNCH), Tuberculosis (TB), Adolescent Health (AH), and Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC).
KHPT as a sub-recipient of Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) is implementing “Joint Effort for Eliminating TB (JEET)” Project in Karnataka State and invites applications for the following position from committed professionals the project JEET.

Qualification, Skills & Competencies
• Graduate/Post Graduate or B.Pharma
• 2 - 5 years of experience in TB Program or Public and Private Partnerships Program or experience in sales at Pharma/diagnostics/hospital
• Self-motivated and able to motivate other
• Proficiency in local language, Basic knowledge of English (written) is required
• Must have a two-wheeler and a valid license
• Willingness to travel
Roles and Responsibilities
• Mapping the universe of private-sector doctors/providers diagnosing and treating TB patients. Understanding their prescription potential and building the TB patient referral network for these doctors
• Engage and ensure high potential doctors/providers and their referral networks become part of the project
• Map and engage laboratories surrounding target doctors
• Promote the PMTPT [Programmatic management of Tuberculosis Preventive Therapy] program and STCI guidelines through regular in-clinic communication as per call plan
• Ensure quality execution in terms of detailing and conducting scientific activities to engage doctors
• Ensuring Doctors agreement for enrollment of Household contacts [HHC’s] of all notified patients on TB Preventive Therapy [TPT]
• Engaging &Empaneling diagnostic centers/ radiography centers with the project for carrying out X-ray’s for the HHC
• Invite and ensure availability of Private & public sector Doctors to the CME
• Engage Public sector Doctors on PMTPT as per the need of the program
• Data collection and reporting as required
• Maintains confidentiality of the tests and patient-related information
• Engaging in other Providers & patient-facing activities as per the requirement of the project
Reporting
The Field Officers will be reporting to the District Lead of respective district/s
Remuneration
The remuneration for the above positions will be fixed in line with internal policies and market standards which will be set based on qualification, relevant experience, budget availability and interview performance.
