Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt, of India. The institute is an integral part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster (NCR BSC) located at Faridabad, and is designed with the mission to conduct innovative translational research to translate concepts into products to improve human health.

Project : Evaluation of Rationally Designed Influenza Vaccines (ENDFLU)
Age Limit : 35 years
Minimum Qualification and Experience : Post Graduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences/M.V.Sc with two years of post qualification experience in academic or industry set up. Experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques and animal handling is essential.
Desirable Qualification & Experience : NET/GATE/DBT-BCLI qualified. Experience in immunogenicity and challenge studies in animals, molecular biology techniques. Preference will be given to if experience in animal handling or viruses.

Knowledge of mammalian cells and aseptic techniques, including culture and maintenance of primary cells and cell lines. At least one publication as first author in a scientificjournal

Project Scientist-I

Minimum Qualification and Experience : PhD in Life Sciences/ Analytical Chemistry/ Biochemistry from a recognized University. Desirable Experience Prior experience of performing mass spectrometry-based untargeted and targeted metabolomics. Familiarity with at least one of the common programming languages (Python, MATLAB, R etc.) Interpreting LC-MS-MS data in the context of metabolism and physiology with a minimum of one first author publication in a SCI journal.
Desirable Qualification & Experience : Enthusiatic to work closely with a multidisciplinary team. Work on -omics Data Science. Establish targeted mass spectrometery assays, its method development, validation, analysis using statistical tools and programming languages. Supervise research activity in the lab that handles clinical samples. Perform data analysis, interpretation, report preparation and presentation.

Senior Project Associate

Minimum Qualification and Experience : i) Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent and ii) Four years of post qualification experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services. OR Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/Phama or MS or MD from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification & Experience :
• Mentioned position is expected to facilitate coordination of the multi partner, multi-institution, consortia projects supported by the dept, in partnership.
• The candidate will assist the project manager & Senior management to liaison between the investigators of all the institute and the study site.
• Should have training, understanding and knowledge in broader areas of life science/Biotechnology.
• Should be comfortable with managing digital tools eg. Virtual meeting platforms, Trello, monitoring dashboard etc.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. These are short-term positions and extension will be granted subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbents and tenure of the project for which they are selected. Those appointed to these positions will not have any claim for regularization of their employment.
2. All educational, professional and technical qualification should be from a recognized Board/University.
3. The experience requirement specified above shall be the experience acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualifications specified for the post.
