The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Following post under research project entitled "Convergence of initiative of various social security scheme implemented by Punjab govt. - integrated training program of the street vendors In the urban local bodies with the special focus on street food hygiene” sanctioned to the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Qualifications
Essential :
• B.Sc. / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / B.Pharma / BUMS
Desirable : • Work experience in Public Health / Capacity Building and Training workshop
Medium :
• Exposure to the functioning of street vendors.
• Should have technical proficiency and ability to read and write in Hindi, Punjabi and English.
• Working Knowledge of comp liters-MS Office/Report writing
• Have experience in team management.
• Must have travel experience.
Emoluments : Basic Salary: Rs. 30000/- per month + D.A: Rs. 5000/- per month
No other allowance is admissible. Post is purely on contract basis upto 31.03.2022 in the Research Scheme.
