Vacancy for Senior Research Fellow at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute | M.Pharm, M.Sc

Regional Ayurveda Research Institute was initially started with a Unit of Survey of Medicinal Plants and Clinical Research in the year 1971 and it was upgraded to Regional Research Institute in 1979. Further it was renamed as North Eastern India Ayurveda Research Institute in the year 2009 and subsequently it was again renamed as Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Gastro-Intestinal Disorder. The Institute has its own Land and Building.

Senior Research Fellow (Botany)
Qualification Experience and age limit :
I. Essential
1. Post-graduate degree in Botany from a recognized University/Institution.
2. 02 years research/teaching experience preferably in medicinal plants after obtaining PG.
II. Desirable:
1. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or who have precious research experience i.e. having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR. CSIR. DST or equivalent organization.
2. Skills of drafting editing of scientific documents/ articles/ technical reports etc. and working experience in managing research journals.
3. Sound knowledge of ethno medicine and its applications and drug development.
4. Publication in peer reviewed journals.
5. Working knowledge of computer applications.
III. Age not exceeding 35 years as on date of interview.
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 35000/- + HRA (As per CCRAS rule applicable)

Senior Research Fellow(Pharmacognosy)
Qualification Experience and age limit :
I. Essential
1. M. Pharm (Pharmacognosy)/ M. Pharm (Ay)/ M.Sc. (Medical Plant) with specialization in Pharmacognosy.
OR
2. Master’s degree in Botany from a recognized University/Institution with 02 years research/teaching experience after PG degree.
II. Desirable:
1. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or who have previous research experience i.e. having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH. ICMR. CSIR, DST or equivalent organization.
2. Skills of drafting editing of scientific documents/ articles/ technical reports etc. and working experience in managing research journals.
3. Sound knowledge of drug development, Pharmacognostical techniques. drug standardization and analytical techniques.
4. Publication in peer reviewed journals.
5. Working knowledge of computer applications.
III. Age not exceeding 35 years as on date of interview.

Senior Research Fellow (Chemistry)
Qualification Experience and age limit :
I. Essential
1. M.Sc. in Chemistry with two years' experience.
2. M. Pharm (Ayurveda Quality control) from recognized University/Institution.
II. Desirable:
1. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or who hav e prev ious research experience i.e. having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH. ICMR. CSIR. DST or equivalent organization.
2. Skills of drafting editing of scientific documents/ articles/ technical reports etc. and working experience in managing research journals.
3. Sound knowledge of drug development standardization and analytical techniques.
4. Publication in peer reviewed journals.
5. Working knowledge of computer applications.
III. Age not exceeding 35 years as on date of interview.
