The ICGEB is an international, nonprofit research organization. Established as a special project of UNIDO, it became fully autonomous in 1994 and now counts over 60 Member States. The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology provides a scientific and educational environment of the highest standard and conducts innovative research in life sciences for the benefit of developing countries.

Post : Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow

Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions are available in the Vector Borne Diseases Group, ICGEB, New Delhi component for DBT funded projects.

Fellowship and Duration : Fellowship as per DBT norms. The projects are funded for 3 years. Initially, the positions are available for the first six months and can be further extended based on the performance of the candidates.

Educational Qualifications :
Position 1 : PhD in Biotechnology / microbiology / Life sciences with atleast 1 year experience. Candidates with experience in virology will be preferred.

Position 2 : MSc/MTech degree in Physical / Chemical / Life sciences. Candidates with experience in virology, primary cell cultures and animal handling will be preferred.
