The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine.

Eligible candidates are requested to attend walk in interview for the following contractual posts on ‘co-terminus’ basis for various Projects of this Institute.

Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry) - 02 (Two) posts
Qualification, experience and age limit :
Essential : M.Sc. in Chemistry
Desirable :
1. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or who have previous Research experience i.e. having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent organization.
2. Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles/ technical reports etc.
3. Publication in peer reviewed journals
4. Working knowledge of computer applications.
Age : not exceeding 35 years as on 01-01-2020
Tenure : One Year / Two Years
Monthly remuneration : Rs.31,000/- p.m. + HRA (24%)

Junior Research Fellow (Botany /Pharmacognosy) - 01 (One) post
Qualification, experience and age limit :
Essential : M.Sc. in Botany/ M. Pharm. in Pharmacognosy
Desirable:
1. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or who have previous Research experience i.e. having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent organization.
2. Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles/ technical reports etc.

Monthly remuneration : Rs.31,000/- p.m. + HRA (24%)

Programme Assistant- 01 (One) post
Qualification, experience and age limit :
Essential: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from a recognized Institution/University.
Desirable:
Knowledge in computer applications such as MS Office. Should have good communication skill, writing ability and interpersonal skills.
Age : not exceeding 35 years as on 01-01-2020
Tenure : One Year / Two Years
Monthly remuneration : Rs.25,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Sl No - 04
Senior Research Fellow (Pharmacology)- 02 (Two) posts
Qualification, experience and age limit :
Essential: M.V.Sc.(Pharmacology)/ M.Pharm. (Pharmacology)/ M. Pharm. (Ay.)/ M.Sc. (Medicinal Plants with specialization in Pharmacology)
Desirable :
1. Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or who have previous Research experience i.e. having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent organization.
2. Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles/ technical reports etc.

Interested candidates fulfilling the essential qualification and age limit should attend the walk in interview with prescribed proforma along with self attested copies of certificates in support of age and essential qualification and two passport size recent photographs. The candidates are required to appear for written test/interviews at the above mentioned address. The candidates who are attending for interview will be required to carry their original testimonials for verification. The interested candidates must reach the venue on 20-06-2020 & 21-06-2020 at 10.00 am onwards for registration.

NOTES:
1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the projects and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on 01-01-2020. Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt, of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview.
