Dibrugarh University, the easternmost University of India was set up in 1965 under the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating University with limited residential facilities. The University is situated at Rajabheta at a distance of about five kilometres to the south of the premier town of Dibrugarh in the eastern part of Assam as well as India.

Essential Qualification: M.Pharm. with first class in Pharmacognosy. The candidate should have basic degree of B.Pharm. in Graduation level. Experience of teaching / Research work is desirable.

Salary : Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated) [for those having GPAT or Ph.D. ] and Rs. 20,000/-(consolidated) per month [for those who have not GPAT or Ph.D.]

They shall have to register their names as candidates by paying Rs. 200/-(Rupees two hundred) only at the time of the interview.

Intending candidates having requisite qualification may appear in the interview with copies of bio-data, attested copies of testimonials and experience certificate (if any), along with the original certificates of qualifications for verification.

No TA and DA will be admissible for the purpose.

A Walk-in Interview will be held on 20/06/2019 at 10.30 A.M. onwards in the Bhojraj Seth Conference Hall of the Vice-Chancellor's Office, D.U. for the one (01) Assistant Professor on contract basis in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, D.U.
