To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish. The hegemony of the British establishment had to be challenged. Education had to play a new role in this changed scenario. It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being.

A walk in interview will be held at UG Pharmacology Laboratory, Dent, of Pharmaceutical Technology Jadavpur University (1st Floor) for recruitment of a Project Assistant for JU-RUSA 2.0 sponsored project entitled ‘'investigating Combinations of Indian Medicinal Plant Isolates for Human Histamine Receptor Type-1 Suppression with a focus on Management of Allergy” under the supervision of Prof. Sanmoy Karmakar.
Essential Qualification : Master in Pharmacy (As per Pharmacy Council of India Regulation)
Desirable : Experienced in Natural Product and PCR based laboratory techniques.
Remuneration : Rs. 14,000/- +HRA
Age : 30 Years (relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PD Candidates)
