The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Panjab University is a premier institution of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in the country. Post : Junior Research Fellow (SRF)
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DRDO sponsored research project entitled “Design and Development of Novel Peptides/Peptoids as Potential Drugs against selected pathogens” sanctioned to the undersigned.
Essential Qualifications: The Candidate must have passed the M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Allied fields.
Note: Candidate who have cleared GATE/NET-JRF/lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)/ICMR/Panjab University’s Ph.D. entrance test, are encouraged to apply.
Desirable Experience: Prior knowledge of protein structural studies or computational studies.
Emoluments/Fellowship: The selected candidate will be paid stipend of Rs. 25,000/-p.m. + HRA as per Central Govt./ Panjab University Rules.
Duration: Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
