The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is an autonomous Grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. The TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). The TMC conducts Ph.D. program in Life Sciences and Health Sciences and is affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (Deemed University). On-going research at TMC includes basic, Epidemiological and translational work in Cancer.
Post : Animal Technician
To work on project entitled " To assess in vivo toxicity of Ayurvedic formulations to be used as adjunct treatment for Project 1- A)Triple negative breast cancer patients and B) BRCA % positive breast cancer patients and Project 2- to alleviate A) Toxicities of chemotherapy in breast cancer patients and B) Toxicities of radiotherapy in oral cavity cancer patients"
Essential Qualifications & Experience: B. Pharm with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Experience in animal handling will be preferable.
Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest; hence results-awaited candidates will not be eligible to apply for the post.
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Duration: Six months and extendable.
