Sardar Patel University was established by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of the then Bombay Province in December 1955 and was recognised under 2f of the UGC Act in October 1968. The university has completed 56 golden years of a fruitful existence that has brought it to the forefront in terms of its academic excellence. No wonder, then, efforts have been made either to emulate its example or to replicate it elsewhere in Gujarat.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited on plain paper for Junior Research Fellow in a research project titled, “Evaluation of antagonism of Bacillus strains against Escherichia coli, Salmonella enterica and Clostridium perfringens” sponsored by Zytex Biotech Pvt. Ltd. for a duration of six months from the date of appointment or completion of project whichever is earlier.
Eligibility: M. Sc. with minimum 6 CGPA or 1st class in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Industrial Biotechnology with consistent good academic record. The
candidates who have qualified UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/ or equivalent NET examination will be given preference.
Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (@10%) per month.
Duration of Fellowship: JRF post is purely on temporary basis for Six months from the date of appointment or till completion of project whichever is earlier.
