The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai was established as the Department of Chemical Technology on 1st October, 1933 by the University of Mumbai, through active support of industries and philanthropists. The Institute was most popularly known as UDCT, Mumbai. Research has been an integral part of ICT since its inception and it has created over 500 first generation entrepreneurs. The UDCT grew significantly in stature and was granted autonomy under UGC regulations by the University of Mumbai and further converted in to an Institute on 26th January, 2002. Under the World Bank TEQIP programme, the Maharashtra government granted it full autonomy in June 2004.
Walk In interview for ONE Junior Research fellow on a project sponsored by Department Of Atomic Energy (DAE) Board Of Research In Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) on “Innovative Formulations of Radioprotectors and immunomodulators developed in BARC” under the supervision of Prof. Padma V. Devarajan are scheduled on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm in Pharma Conference Room.
Qualifications: M.Pharm/M.Tech Pharma/M.Tech Biotechnology/ M.Tech Bioprocesstechnology/ MSc(biotechnology). GATE/GPAT qualified candidates would be given preference. Candidates should be conversant with latest trends and familiar with preparation of drug loaded nanoparticles, comprising drug combinations and or experience in cell culture techniques. .
Experience: Experience in animal handling is desirable.
Fellowship: 25,000/-per month fixed.
Duration: Initially upto March 2018, extendable for one more year based on progress.
Selected candidate would be permitted to register for Ph.D under the supervision of Prof. Padma V. Devarajan, in keeping with rules of ICT
