Post : Assistant Manager - Audit and Compliance
Job Description
This position will oversee adherence to Roche Code of Conduct, Healthcare Compliance SOPs & directives, investigations, define and plan internal and external audits to be conducted, oversee conduct of the audit and implementation of follow up actions with the objective of ensuring timely conduct of audit in line with statutory requirements and adherence to global and local compliance policies
- You will define and plan for all internal audits to be conducted during the year, coordinate with internal and external auditors for the various audits, review the observations and management response and ensure closure of the audit within timelines
- You will oversee processes around Grants, Sponsorships and Donations and adherence to Symphony guidelines and GSD directives, develop SOPs, training and awareness programs embedded within the HealthCare Compliance Office (HCO)
- You will develop Monitor user completion rates for all mandatory compliance training programs (e.g. RoBIB) and coordinate internal audits of Roche India warehouses and carrying & forward agents (CFAs)
- You will oversee controls and risks related to the administration of Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) and will also look into tracking of the remediation & compliance and highlight/ escalate deviations if any and participate in the audits across entities as identified by global teams
- You will interact with global communication teams to understand the global guidelines, customize the same based on India's requirements before roll out and conduct trainings for internal and external stakeholders with respect to Roche Code of Conduct and Government rules and regulations
- You will initiate and conduct investigations in case of audit/compliance issues; Conclude investigations based on internal findings and external compliance; investigate the same and recommend the action that needs to be taken in line with the Roche Code of Conduct
- You will also oversee adherence to guidelines by the field force, conduct trainings on compliance, support internal audits, as required and review mapping of risk and controls
- You will undertake risk assessments (financial, operational, credit) through discussion with senior management of all functions and arrive at risk response strategy
- You will initiate and conduct investigations in case of audit/compliance issues, conclude investigations based on internal findings and external compliance, investigate the same and recommend the action that needs to be taken in line with the Roche Code of Conduct.
Candidate Profile
- You have Master’s Degree (preferred discipline Finance, Medical) with 4-6 years of experience
- You have knowledge of statutory and internal audit requirements
- You have good working knowledge of Global and Local Pharma compliance rules and regulations, knowledge of SAP, accounting standards and guidelines
- You have thorough knowledge of business operations, standards, values, code of ethics and regulations affecting ethics and compliance
