Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology is an autonomous body of the Government of Uttarakhand, Department of Science & Technology. UCOST started its activities from last quarter of year 2005, However it was registered under the Registration of Societies Act, 1860 in November 2002.
Walk-in-Interview will be held at Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Dehradun on 17 June, 2017 at 10:00 am for the post of JRF’s under the two different project funded by WTI Programme, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, New Delhi and one post of Food Technologist/RA-II under the project of NMHS funded G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, Kosi-Katarmal. The detail for the post is given below:
Food Engineer/RAII (01 no.)
Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. degree in Food Engineering/Food Nutrition / Biochemistry/ Microbiology or M.Pharm/M.Tech/M.Sc. degree in Food Engineering /Food Nutrition/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology with three year research experience.
Project Name : “Enhancing livelihood of Himalayan communities through action research and transforming wild produce into high value product” (NMHS)
Emoluments/month : Rs. 38,000.00 per month consolidated
NET Junior Research Fellow (01 no.) or Non NET- Junior Research Fellow (02 no.)
Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Biochemistry with or without NET or equivalent qualification (as per DST, GoI norms)
Project Name : “Modelling for Enhancing Water Quality in Uttarakhand using Geospatial Technology” (WTIDST)
Emoluments/month :
Fellowship for with NET-JRF @ Rs. 25,000/= pm + HRA @ 20% per month or Fellowship for Non NET-JRF @ Rs. 12,000.00 + 20% HRA per month
Non NET- Junior Research Fellow (01 no.)
Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry
Project Name : “Development of Water Quality Monitoring & Surveillance (WQM&S) Model in Selected Rural Areas of Uttarakhand (Phase-II)” (WTI-DST)
Emoluments/month :
Fellowship for Non NET @ Rs. 12,000.00 + 20% HRA per month
