Opportunity to work in research for M.Pharm/M.Sc professionals at KVASU

The newly formed Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) is located in the scenic hilly terrain of Pookot in Wayanad district, Kerala, India. KVASU has three constituent colleges which include: College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookot, Wayanad and College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy. Moreover the university has research stations at Thumbermuzhi, Thiruvazhamkunnu and Mannuthy.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment in the temporary posts of Senior Research Fellow and Semi- skilled labourer for a period of 3 years in the “Chemical, Structural and Functional Characterization of Identified Anti-Tick Lead Phytochemicals and Optimization of Delivery Matrix for Effective Application of Natural Formulation for the Control of Acaricide Resistant Ticks” in the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad.

Essential qualification
MVSc in Veterinary Pharmacology or M. Pharm in Pharmacology.
In the absence of above, candidates with PhD or MSc with NET in Analytical chemistry will be considered.

Desirable qualification
1. Ph. D. in Pharmacology.
2. Research experience in Pharmacokinetics and Toxicology

Scale of pay : As per emoluments payable to SRF in ICAR funded projects
