National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), an autonomous institute under the aegis of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity.
Applications are invited for the posts of Project Fellows/JRF/SRF at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Life Sciences (incl. Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.) or M.Tech with Biotechnology /Life Sciences). For SRF two years of research experience other than post - graduation is required.
Candidates with experience in infectious diseases, molecular biology, protein chemistry, animal cell culture biology will be preferred.
Candidates with masters in professional degrees and MSc candidates either with NET/GATE qualification of suffici ently high score/rank or with two years of research experience will be considered for higher fellowship amount depending upon the funds allocated to the project or as per Institutional policy.
Age Limit: 30 years (5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Challenged candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates)
The selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for a period of one year and extended after review
