The University of Delhi is the premier university of the country and is known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty. It was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the then Central Legislative Assembly. The President of India is the Visitor, the Vice President is the Chancellor and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India is the Pro-Chancellor of the University.
One Research Officer is to be engaged initially for one year duration under the MHRD IPR Chair located at the Cluster innovation Centre, Rugby Sevens, Stadium, Delhi University (North campus).

Qualifications for Research Officer:
Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc. / M.Tech (Life Sc./ Botany/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry) / M.Pharm with 60% marks
And
PhD (Life Sc./Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry/ Chemistry) from a UGC recognized University with one year demonstrated IPR experience and intensive on-the- job IP training.

Desirable Qualifications:
One year demonstrated IPR experience and on-the-job training in intellectual property and related matters from a government organization or a law firm of repute OR Cleared patent agent exam OR IPR Diploma from a recognized university with 60% marks and one year demonstrated experience in intellectual property and related matters. Extensive experience in IP laws, prior art searches, FTO and patentability assessments, trademark and copyright is desired.
Proficiency in using Microsoft office, Patent databases and Internet applications is essential.
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- consolidated
Age limit: 35 years
